That’s right – the whole month is dedicated to ice cream! Thank you to Ronald Reagan for declaring July as the month to celebrate such a beloved dessert! Capannari Ice Cream will be celebrating with a Concert in the Park on July 10th. Bring a lawn chair and picnic dinner for our own little Ravinia. The sounds of Good Monday Duo will be playing your favorites under the new gazebo.
We are also “saluting” America with our I Pledge promotion. Every Monday in July, between 4:00 – 6:00 pm, kids under 12 will be treated to a free kiddie cone if they can recite the Pledge of Allegiance by memory. (Side note: we aren’t sticklers on getting some guidance for the little ones.) It’s our favorite promotion because of its simplicity and charm. We will be donating 10% of sales during the I Pledge promotion to Salute, a great organization that supports returning vets and their families.
July 17th will be our second Concert in the Park – and one of my favorites – Mulligan Stew will be cranking out the Irish tunes. Yes, I will be dancing!
July 20th is our Mooovie Night at Mount Prospect’s Village Green. Mark your calendars for this one … Inside Out.
